We first quietly observed his artwork, then took turns saying anything we noticed about it. Together, we came up with the following list about his artwork:
-black lines
-primary colors
-quadrilateral shapes
-"perfect" "not like messy art"
Then we discussed the meaning of the word quadrilateral, and observed the difference between horizontal and vertical lines.
During their art project, they developed their ability to follow directions, count, and glue.
